King Charles Public house Saturday 4th October 2008.
Mike, Ash and Mark went along to the King Charles Public House in Poole Dorset at around 6pm it was during the baseline test that things started to happen when they arrived the temperature was reading 18.3, the humidity was reading 61% there was a small reading on the E.M.F 3-4, Ash started taking photos which show three possible orbs, and set up the coins we were going to use as trigger objects for this evenings investigation the first trigger object was set up over on the far left next to the fireplace the second was set up in the far right corner of the area we had to cover and the third was set up left of the window near the front of the building, after which Ash took some more photos and noticed that the tablecloth on one of the tables had started to move yet there was no draft coming from any where and no one else was near it this was very strange it was like someone/thing had hold of the tablecloth and was scrunching it up in front of him also a chair that had originally been tucked in under a different table was now sat a good meter away. Ash said that it had really puzzled him as to why it had started to move and to why the chair had moved.
The rest of the team which were as follows Lisa, Trudy, Matt, Sarah and Cara joined Ash, Mike and Mark, at around 8:30pm it was a very cold evening and the team were very eager to get the investigation under way we couldn’t set up barrier alarms up as the area was to small, the team gathered round the table in the middle of the area we had to cover whilst sorting out how to conduct the investigation it wasn’t long before Lisa started to pick up on a young girl called Emily around the ages of 20 possibly 21, Cara felt that she may have been hung because she kept getting a tightness around her throat Lisa also felt a strange tightness around her throat also Lisa picked up on two young children a young boy and a young girl around the ages of 10-12 no older than 13 on the stairs leading down to the bar the landlord later confirmed that the sight of to ghostly child have been seen running and playing in that area Lisa also kept seeing the figure of someone walking up the stairs in the far corner which leads to a fire exit, after which we decided to conduct a séance there was a few strange light anomalies but not much else happened during the séance so we decided to stop the séance to see if we would get more of a response from doing some table tipping whilst doing this the spirit of a man who was very angry and had a disliking to women came forward and there was a very nasty smell in the air which I don’t think anyone in the team had ever smelt before this entity then seem to attack Lisa twisting her left arm round in such a way that no one could do to themselves Lisa was in a lot of pain and asked if Matt and Ash could escort her away from the area because of this incident the team decided to take a short break.
When the team returned Lisa was drawn towards the fireplace which is at the far side of the area we were investigating it turned out that Lisa was told by the spirit of the gentleman that his initials were etched into the wall on one of the stones just to the right hand side of the fireplace and can be seen if you ever decide to visit. Whilst standing near the fireplace we all witnessed that putrid smell again also Trudy was witness to two strange shadowy figures on the wall on the right as you walk into the area during the evening the whole team had an over whelming of sadness and anger which was very strange and no one on board that night could explain we also witnessed several cold spots and caught quite a few orbs (orbs are known as that first stages of manifestation) and maybe a face looking through the window up on the balcony area which we didn’t have access to but it can be seen on the photos. The whole team really enjoyed investigating this site and look forward to possibly going back so the next time you go to the King Charles public house maybe the spirits there will give you an experience that you will never forget…..
