Welcome to the P.I.T Paranormal investigation team's website. The P.I.T officialy formed in Weymouth Dorset, on the 24th April 2008, however can trace its routes back to the heady days of 2003 when the founding members( Lisa,Trudy,Mike and Cara) first began there search for the paranormal . Since then The P.I.T has gone from strength to strength and brings together in excess of 50 years experience in the paranormal. The team is made up of 14 members (and still growing!) who come from all walks of life and bring to the team a good mix of beliefs ranging from the skeptical to believer and the in between-ers! We believe this adds to our ability to view all phenomena with a open mind and to discern the natural causes from the paranormal.
We carry out all investigations with a open mind as to the causes of any reports. We continue to review all evidence with the same open mind, only after we have ruled out all other explanations do we consider any remaining evidence as possible paranormal activity, and in a few cases consider it to be truly paranormal.
The Investigation team have access to a full spectrum of scientific equipment including -
Night vision cameras
Digital cameras
DVR cameras
Dictaphones (to record any possible evp activity)
Thermometer (to measure ambient temperature)
Infrared non-contact temperature guns (to measure surface temp to record cold spots)
Gauss meters (measures electromagnetic fields)
KII meters (measures electromagnetic fields)
Motion and infrared barrier alarms (to secure locked off areas)
Trigger objects (to detect/record paranormal activity)
Walkie-talkies (for communication)
Torches (to see with in the dark :-P)
First aid Kit (just in case)
We also have a Medium (Lisa) on the team and a trainee Medium (Cara)
